A direction-first mix process for R&B, pop, and melodic artists who want to hear the direction before committing to the full release-ready mix.
You should not have to book the full mix just to learn whether the engineer understands the song.
Best for R&B, Pop, Melodic Records. Recordings done
in Pro Tools, Logic, Ableton, FL Studio…etc.
Step 1
demo Direction
A 30-second preview of the mix direction using your song.
This includes light edits and is focused on the overall direction, vocal tone, space, and feel of the record.
It lets you hear whether I understand the song before buying the full mix.

Full-song direction preview available for +$100.
The full-song preview is not mastered, not release-ready, and not a substitute for the final mix.
*Delivery timeline begins after payment, intake, and stem approval.
This service comes with no-revisions. It is so you can see if the engineer understands the song direction for your approval. You will be able to get revisions if you decide to upgrade the mix to Release Ready (see step 2 below).
Delivery depends on our availability but will not exceed the time you paid for.
Example: If we are busy and you paid for 30 day delivery, you will receive it within a maximum of 30 days. If our schedule is open, you can receive it within 3 days.
I review your uploaded files before the clock starts to make sure nothing is missing, clipped, poorly exported, or likely to hold the mix back.
A short vibe check to understand what should stay true about your sound, voice, and emotion before I create
the demo.
You send a reference track, and I pull the main direction from it: vocal level, space, tone, effects, and overall feel.
You can describe your desired sound in normal words like warmer / brighter, closer / more spacious, cleaner / more polished, vocal more upfront / more blended.

Step 2
Mix + Master
For R&B, pop, and melodic artists who already recorded the song but need the vocals to sit right, the feeling to come through, and the final version to sound ready to drop.
Timeline refers to first mix delivery. Final master delivery depends on revision notes
and approval.

Delivery depends on our availability but will not exceed the time you paid for.
For Example: If we are busy and you paid for 30 day delivery, you will receive it within a maximum of 30 days. If our schedule is open, you can receive it within 3 days.
This service is non-refundable.
After mix delivery you will receive two options for revisions. A 4 hours revision sprint or a 3-Day Unlimited Revision Period. One round comes with the mix. Any further revision rounds are paid.
Before the delivery clock starts, I review your stems and tell you if anything is missing, clipped, poorly exported, or likely to hurt the mix.
You let me know what must stay true about your sound: rawness, warmth, emotion, space, vocal texture, intimacy, aggression, polish, or whatever matters most to the record.
You send 1–3 reference tracks. I identify what actually matters: vocal level, reverb space, delay style, brightness, low end, width, and emotional feel.

One focused 4-hour revision window after the first mix where I apply notes within the original direction in real time.
An unlimited revision window after the first mix where you are able to sleep on the mix and I make multiple updates over the course of 72 hours.
I check the mix across common listening environments: phone, headphones, AirPods, car-style low end, and small-speaker vocal clarity.
Final files prepared for release and promotion. Possible exports include WAV master, MP3 master, clean version, performance version, instrumental, and accapella.

I just wanted to get an idea of how someone else would mix my vocals instead of always trying to do it myself. I wanted to hear the difference. They had a clear process and what’s included, Great ear for vocals and tone, Reliable revisions and follow-through

R&B Singer
I would recommend Carr Club Music because of my positive experience. He was communicative and very detailed in what I can expect, the timeline, and what all is included in the service he’s providing. He was timely and efficient, taking the necessary time to do what I asked and was truly kind throughout the entire process!

I had a hit on my hands and I needed someone that can bring my vision to life with precision. Their work was fast, detailed, and simple but effective, this is what working with anyone via online should be. Everything I listed above! Great team, smooth process, and great mix. Simple.

I produced one of my songs, and decided to get someone to mix and master which was Carr Club Music. It was great to work with them, it was an easy process, and they were receptive to feedback and made some really nice adjustments.

I’m not asking you to book the full mix today. I’m asking you to make a fully informed decision. The only real way to know if I’m the right engineer for your song is to hear what I can do with your music first.
That’s why new clients start with the 30-Second Mix Direction Demo. If the demo direction is not for you, no hard feelings. You can get your money back. I only want to keep your money if you’re happy with the direction.
If the demo is refunded, the demo file cannot be released, posted, distributed, or used commercially. If you approve the 30-second demo and then book the full Release-Ready Mix + Master, that demo becomes the pocket we stay locked into. If the final mix drifts away from the approved direction, I’ll include one additional revision round at no extra charge to bring it back in line.
This applies as long as the original approved direction, stems, beat, vocal takes, arrangement, and reference direction have not changed.

The 30-Second Mix Direction Demo is a short preview of the mix direction using your song. It is designed to help you hear whether I understand the tone, space, vocal direction, and overall feeling of the record before you book the full Release-Ready Mix + Master. It is not a full mix, not mastered, and not intended for release.
Because hearing the direction is better than guessing. I’m not asking you to book the full mix blindly. The demo gives you a way to make an informed decision before committing to the full release-ready version. If the direction is not for you, no hard feelings. You can request your money back for the demo.
If you like the direction, you can move forward in one of two ways:
1. Book the full Release-Ready Mix + Master.
2. Add the Full-Song Direction Preview if you want to hear the same direction across the full song before committing to the final mix.
The full mix is sold separately from the demo and preview.
The Full-Song Direction Preview extends the approved 30-second demo direction across the entire song. This is still a direction preview. It is not mastered, not final, and not release-ready. It helps you hear the full song moving in the right direction before the final mix stage.
No. The 30-second demo and full-song direction preview are for approval and direction only. They are not release-ready files and cannot be released, posted, distributed, uploaded, sold, or used commercially unless we have a separate written agreement.
That can happen because the demo is often more immediate, rough, or vibe-focused.
If you approve the demo direction and then book the full Release-Ready Mix + Master, the demo becomes the direction we stay aligned with.
If the first full mix feels like it drifted away from that approved direction, we can use the revision sprint to pull the final mix closer to the demo’s tone, space, feeling, or vocal direction.
However, the final mix still has to work as a complete release-ready record. That means it needs full-song balance, vocal automation, speaker translation, mastering, and final export preparation. The demo can guide the final mix, but it does not replace
the full mix.
No. The demo is used to lock the direction before the full mix begins. Once you approve the demo direction and book the Release-Ready Mix + Master, the full mix payment covers the full release process: mixing the entire song, balancing every section, checking translation, mastering, revisions, and preparing final files.
If the final mix needs to feel closer to the approved demo, we revise toward that direction. That is not the same as canceling the full mix.
The Hear-It-First Guarantee means new clients can start with the 30-Second Mix Direction Demo before booking the full mix.
If the demo direction is not for you, you can request a refund for the demo.
If you approve the demo and then book the full Release-Ready Mix + Master, that demo becomes the pocket we stay locked into. If the final mix drifts away from the approved direction, I’ll include one additional 4-hour revision sprint at no extra charge to bring it back in line.
This applies as long as the original approved direction, stems, beat, vocal takes, arrangement, and reference direction have not changed.
The Release-Ready Mix + Master is the full version of the song prepared for release.
It includes the full mix, master, stem approval, sound identity lock, reference track map, no-engineer-speak intake, translation check, revision sprint, and release export pack.
The goal is to make the vocals sit right, bring out the feeling of the record, and prepare the final version for release.
Your delivery timeline starts after:
1. Payment is complete.
2. Intake form is complete.
3. Stems are uploaded.
4. Stems are approved.
If stems are missing, clipped, poorly exported, or likely to hurt the mix, I’ll let you know before the clock starts.
No. The delivery timeline refers to the first mix delivery. Final master delivery depends on how quickly revision notes are submitted, how many changes are needed, and when the mix is approved.
A 4-Hour Revision Sprint is a focused revision window after the first mix.
You submit organized notes, and I use that window to make adjustments within the original approved direction.
This can include things like vocal level, vocal tone, reverb, delay, ad-libs, balance, brightness, warmth, and overall feel. It does not include new vocals, new beat versions, arrangement changes, or a completely new creative direction.
A 3 Day Unlimited Revision Period is a focused 72 hour revision window after the first mix.
You submit organized notes in real time and I make the changes necessary. You are able to sleep on the mix. The updates are not immediate like 4 hour Revision Sprint. They are within the 24 hour period. This is so you can take a break and sleep on the mix if necessary. For real time updates, the 4-Hour Revision Sprint is the dedicated option.
This can include things like vocal level, vocal tone, reverb, delay, ad-libs, balance, brightness, warmth, and overall feel.
It does not include new vocals, new beat versions, arrangement changes, or a completely new creative direction.
Changes within the approved direction are handled through the revision period.
A totally new direction may require an additional paid revision round or a new mix direction pass.
Examples of a new direction include changing the reference track, replacing the beat, recording new vocals, changing the arrangement, or asking for a completely different sound than the approved demo direction.
Depending on the package and what is needed, your Release Export Pack may include:
No. The intake and revision forms are written in plain language. You do not need to know EQ, compression, saturation, stereo imaging, or any engineering terms.
You can describe the feeling you want, the references you like, and what sounds off to you. I’ll translate that into mix decisions.
